ReAnKos Counseling Services works in collaboration with the Taipei Center of Reangel Clinic and the Taipei Rekosmos department of Reangel Clinic.  The counseling center focuses on English speaking clients.  ReAnKos is staffed by professional counselors who speak fluent English and are culturally responsive to the specific needs of the English speaking clients in Taiwan.

It is often the case that the novelty of living in a new country wears off after a few weeks, months, or even years.  Apart from having to deal with adjustment to the host culture, and the accompanying language barrier, past personal issues sometimes resurface. Depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, or even relational issues may be adversely triggered by the current challenges of living in Taiwan.

If you have been living here for many years, you may feel comfortable enough to get around, but do not feel you are living up to your own capabilities or self-expectations.  Possibly, you have been relocated here for work and your social network is small.   Perhaps you have been taking psychotropic medications and need both therapy and medication monitoring by a psychiatrist.

ReAnKos is prepared to offer the same quality professional counseling service that you might expect in your home country. Being effective and able to meet the unique needs of the English speaking clients in Taiwan requires more than just having language proficiency, psychological counseling trainings, and a license. A seasoned psychotherapist knows the pace of his/her client's counseling process, has the eye to see beyond client's presenting issues/symptoms, and has the cultural sensitivity to understand the unique experience of native English speakers living abroad in Taiwan. Our psychiatrist and therapists do more than just lend an empathetic ear. We work together as a team, and are committed to providing mental health services that promote positive outcomes.

Directions
ReAnKos is located near to Zhong-Xiao Dun Hua MRT Station. Our office building is close to the corner of ez-Travel and shares the same building of the Bank of Taiwan. If you are taking the MRT, you will arrive at the Zhong-Xiao Dun Hua MRT Station on the blue line, and then you will want to leave the station at either Exit 8 or Exit 9.
Directions on how to get to the office from Exit 9
Looking for Exit 9 may be a little bit confusing, because the directions in the Zhong-Xiao Dun Hua MRT Station aren't very clear, but exit 9 does take you right out next to our counseling office building. The following directions should help you find us without too much difficulty:
  1. After you arrive at the station, locate and follow the signs for exit number 8.
  2. When you see the sign for the East Metro Mall (underground mall), take the exit, which jogs left, and then immediately right. You will enter the mall.
  3. Once in the mall, walk straight ahead, looking for the escalator going down.
  4. Once you’ve taken the escalator down, look for the EXIT sign on your right-hand side.
  5. Take the exit and look for Exit 9, again on your right-hand side.
  6. Walk up the steps of Exit 9 to Dun-Hua South Road. You will be next to our office building, #200.
Directions on how to get to the office from exit 8
If you feel the directions above are confusing (it really isn't as bad as it seems), you may simply leave from exit 8. Once outside, you’ll then need to cross the street directly in front of you from Dun Hua MRT station. Once you are on the other side, locate our building, #200.
If you are taking a taxi, you may print out the following address in Chinese to give to the cab driver.
You may contact us on the day of your appointment concerning any questions you may have on how to find us. Please call: (02)27211526 (Note: Since we don't have an English speaking staff to answer your questions in English, please request to speak to your therapist.)
