| Dr. Ma received her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Maryland-College Park (UMD) in the United States. She trained at such agencies as the UMD Counseling Center, the UMD Health Center, the University of British Columbia Counselling Services, etc., and has provided various clinical services, including initial assessment, individual/group counseling, career counseling, career/psychological testing & interpretation, crisis intervention, consultation, outreach, and supervision. She has worked with racially and culturally diverse clients presenting with a wide range of clinical issues, e.g., self exploration/growth; existential concerns; stress, anxiety, & mood management; family & relationship issues; trauma; self harm; suicide; body image & disordered eating concerns; personality disturbances. |
