Dr. Celia Liu / Psychologist

(Currently not taking new clients)

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in California and in Taiwan with extensive experience and training helping people confronting challenges including depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, life transitions, and serious mental illness. I work primarily with adolescents and adults.

I received my doctoral degree from PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium and had experienced working in various settings including hospital, school, community mental health center, and outpatient clinics. Through my years of training, I developed specialties in treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and severe mental illnesses. Moreover, as a bilingual clinician, I have extensive experience providing therapy to both Mandarin and English speaking clients. I take an integrated approach in treatment with a focus on using evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Problem Solving Therapy. I believe in the power of psychoeducation, coping skills, and insight, and I am committed to assisting clients to build on their internal and external strengths in a caring and nonjudgmental environment and help them reach a fulfilling life.
