Chen worked in California Academy for Liberal Studies Early College High School in America, Chinese Culture University, and Taiwan Smokers’ Helpline in Taiwan. While staying in these organizations, I have provided individual, family, and group therapy to my clients and their families. Throughout the practice, I have gain experiences in following areas: depression, anger outburst/anger management, social phobia/development of social skills, low self-esteem, poor body image, under academic achievement, anxiety, teen-relationship problems, struggles with parents, emotional abandonment, unresolved grief and loss, pervasive learning disability/autistic disorder, love and relationship, career development, self-identity development , and tobacco cessation counseling.
